Minutes for the April 16, 2007 Meeting
Attendance: Greg Deeds, Craig Boyer, Shirley Mull, Dale Wortinger, Gary Hawley,
David Grund, John Haines, Samantha Ward. Absent: Jim Walker, and Lance Gallahan.
At 8:03 A.M. the meeting was called to order by Greg Deeds.
The minutes of the March 19, 2007 meeting were read. Craig Boyer motioned to
approve the minutes as is; Shirley Mull seconded, motion passed.
The April 2007 financial statement was presented. Craig Boyer motioned to
approve the financial statement, Shirley Mull seconded, motion passed. John will
provide a total for advertising spent last year.
Presented concerns about long term finances due to the tax bills being late this
year. There is currently enough money in the checking account to get the office
through the month of May. Checking account and CD’s will be out of money by
October. It was suggested to check when the CD’s come due, and possibly roll the
money over into a money market account. John noted that one CD comes due in
July, and 2 come due in September. The penalty for early withdrawal from
National City is less than the penalty from First Farmer’s Bank. Craig Boyer
motioned to allow John to cash in one of the September CD’s to get through
financially, Shirley Mull seconded, motion passed.
Presented billing alternative. Our office could get the bills printed and sent
possibly by the end of May. It was suggested that we need to try to get through
this year, and see where we stand for next year.
John noted that Beautification Day had a good turnout at all sites.
Shirley Mull motioned to adjourn 8:29 AM, Gary Hawley seconded, motion passed.
